Ireland lose to controversial goal

An extra time equaliser from William Gallas gave France victory over the Republic of Ireland tonight. Despite protests that Thierry Henry handled the ball twice before crossing, the goal was allowed to stand. France won 2 - 1 on aggregate and will now become one of the top seeds for the draw in Cape Town on December 4th.
